Rashford brace leads Utd revival

Manchester United 4-0 Norwich City

Manchester United got back to winning ways with a 4-0 thumping Norwich City at Old Trafford.

Anthony Martial and teenage sensation Mason Greenwood added to Marcus Rashford's brace with goals in the second stanza, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's charges reclaimed fifth spot on the table.

Chelsea 3-0 Burnley

Fourth-placed Chelsea got over their back-to-back home defeats with a 3-0 drubbing of Burnley at Stamford Bridge.

Jorginho and Tammy Abraham got two first-half goals for the Blues while Callum Hudson-Odoi sealed the three points with the third goal four minutes from the break.

Leicester City 1-2 Southampton

Revived Southampton extended their unbeaten run to five matches after a shock 2-1 win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Dennis Praet got the opener for the Foxes in the 14th minute but Stuart Amstrong levelled matters for the Saints five minutes later.

There was Video Assistant Referee drama in the second stanza as in the 63rd minute Southampton thought they had won a penalty after Shane Long was brought down but the VAR spotted an offside in the build-up, but  Danny Ings gave the visitors a 2-1 lead with nine minutes remaining.

Jonny Evans got the back of the net for Leicester in the last minute but the goal was ruled out for offside by VAR, as Ralph Hasenhuttl's charges held on for a famous victory.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1 Newcastle United

Newcastle United managed to clinch a point at Wolverhampton Wanderers after the two sides played to a 1-1 draw.

Miguel Almiron opened the scoring with his third goal in three games after seven minutes, but Wolves were level through Leander Dendoncker.

Everton 1-0 Brighton and Hove Albion

Everton got back to winning ways in the Premier League after seeing off Brighton and Hove Albion at Goodison Park.

Richarlison's individual strike in the first half was enough to hand the Toffees three points.
