Liverpool opened an 11-point gap at the top of the English Premier League table with a 2-1 win over Brighton Hove & Albion at the Anfield Stadium on Saturday.

A 25th minute double from Virgil van Dijk gave the Reds a perfect start, but Lewis Dunk halved the tally under ten minutes from ful-ltime, as Alisson Becker saw red in the 76th minute.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 AFC Bournemouth

Tottenham Hotspur bagged a third consecutive victory in all competitions after a 3-2 triumph over AFC Bournemouth at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Dele Alli gave the hosts the lead at halftime after firing on the 21st minute. The England international found a second five minutes after halftime with Moussa Sissoko netting a third on 69 minutes.

Harry Wilson gave the hosts a chance after netting a brace, but victory belonged to Spurs as Jose Mourinho continues his perfect start in the hotseat.

Chelsea 0-1 West Ham United

Chelsea suffered back-to-back league defeats after falling to a 1-0 loss to West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.

Aaron Cresswell provided the winner two minutes from halftime after the two sides entered the break deadlocked.

Burnley 0-2 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace snapped a five-match winless run following a comfortable 2-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor.

The Eagles were given a halftime lead courtesy of Wilfred Zaha, who netted on the final minute of the half before Jeffrey Schlupp made the points in the final 12 minutes, taking his side level on points with their counterparts.
