EPL: Palace shock Utd at Old Trafford

Manchester United 1-2 Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace stunned Manchester United 2-1 at the Old Trafford Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Palace took the lead from a Jordan Ayew finish on 32 minutes before Marcus Rashford had the chance to draw level from the spot 20 minutes from time, but hit the post instead.

Daniel James levelled for the Red Devils in the 89th minute, but Patrick van Aanholt stole all the points deep in added time for their first win of the season.

Watford 1-3 West Ham United

West Ham United registered their first win of the campaign with a 3-1 victory away to Watford.

West Ham took a third minute lead through a Mark Noble penalty before Andre Gray pulled the home side level after 17 minutes.

Sebastian Haller put the Hammers back in front after 64 minutes and completed his double with a 73rd minute finish.

Sheffield United 1-2 Leicester City

Sheffield United suffered their first defeat of the season as Leicester City scraped to a 2-1 win at Bramall Lane.

Jamie Vardy granted the Foxes a 38th minute lead, but substitute Oliver McBurnie drew the hosts level after 62 minutes.

Whilst a draw loomed, Harvey Barnes fired the winner off the bench in the final 20 minute with a superb volley from the edge of the box.

Brighton & Hove Albion 0-2 Southampton

Southampton got their campaign off the mark with a late 2-0 win over a ten-man Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

Florin Andone received his marching orders 30 minutes in a goalless first half, as the Saints used their numerical advantage to go in front through a 55th minute strike from Moussa Djenepo.

Nathan Redmond put the contest to bed with a last-ditch conversion, as the hosts head back to drawing board.
