Foxes, Everton clinch first wins

Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Fulham

Tottenham Hotspur made it two wins from two in the Premier League after dispatching returnees Fulham 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Lucas Moura opened the scoring for Spurs two minutes before the break and Aleksandar Mitrovic gave Fulham hope with the equaliser seven minutes after the break.

However, Kieran Tripper and Harry Kane took the match away from the visitors with goals in the 74th and 77th minute respectively.

Everton 2 - 1 Southampton

Richarlison continued his fine form as he guided Everton to a 2-1 win over Southampton on Saturday afternoon.

Theo Walcott drew first blood for the Toffees in the 15th minute and Richarlison doubled the lead on the half-hour mark. Danny Ings pulled a goal back for the Saints in the 54th minute but the hosts held on for victory.

West Ham United 1 - 2 Bournemouth

Steve Cook handed Bournemouth a 2-1 win over West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.

Marko Arnautovic handed the hammers the lead in the 33rd minute but only for Callum Wilson to equalise on the hour-mark for the Cherries and Cork to seal the winner six minutes later.

Leicester City 2-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Ten-man Leicester City clinched a 2-0 victory over rookies Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

Matt Doherty did not give Wolves the best start as he netted an own goal on 30 minutes, before James Maddison sent the Foxes out of sight making it 2-0 in the stroke of halftime.

Jamie Vardy was red carded in the 66th minute but the Foxes used their experience to hold on to victory.

Cardiff City 0-0 Newcastle United

Kenedy missed a stoppage-time penalty to deny ten-man Newcastle victory in their goalless draw with rookies Cardiff City early on Saturday afternoon.

Isaac Hayden was red carded for the Magpies in the 66th minute but the visitors had a glorious chance to clinch all the three points with a stoppage time penalty but the Brazilian Kenedy missed, with City goalkeeper Neil Etheridge guessing the right way to earn Cardiff a precious point.
