After leaving Turkey last month, former Arsenal and Real Madrid striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been linked with a shock return to the Premier League.
According to the Mirror, Aston Villa could make a move for the Togo legend in the January transfer window in an attempt to bolster their attack.
Adebayor is a free agent after parting ways with Turkish Super Lig outfit Kayserispor last month and now could return to the league where he made a name for himself.

The veteran striker could provide Dean Smith's side much-needed depth in their forward department, with record signing Wesley out for the rest of the season with a knee ligament injury.
The report added that 35-year-old would help Villa remain within the Financial Fair Play rules as he is a free agent.
Adebayor featured for the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace before he left for Turkey.
