Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard says he would love five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Old Trafford.
Ronaldo, 34, has enjoyed a stellar debut season at Juve as their top-scorer in Serie A in the UEFA Champions League - while helping them secure a record eighth consecutive league crown.
However, before his exploits in Italy and the nine glittering years at Real Madrid, he starred at United from the age of 18 - replacing David Beckham in the famous number seven shirt.
The Portugal captain went on to score 118 goals in 292 appearances under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson and won three Premier League titles.
And the England international Jesse Lingard concedes he'd be thrilled to have the legendary attacker back amongst their ranks.
"I would love [Manchester United] to sign [Cristiano] Ronaldo,” Lingard told the Daily Mirror. “He has been one of the best players in the world over the last decade.
"He has been here before so he would slot right back in. Growing up he was just unbelievable to watch in a United shirt, so on a personal note it would be amazing to play with him."
