With the exception of the 5-0 drubbing to Paris Saint-Germain at the Jan Breydel Stadium last month, Phillipe Clement's side have held their own in Group A, consisting of the French giants, Real and Galatasaray.

And according to RMC, Leicester scouts have been attending their European fixtures with manager Brendon Rodgers eyeing the Nigeria striker.

The 21-year-old netted an impressive brace at the Santiago Bernabeu in their 2-2 draw in October and has since gone on to make his Super Eagles debut.

With a reported valuation of £20m, The Guardian claims the Foxes are likely to step up their pursuit for the pacey forward as they look to bolster their attacking options for the second half of the season.

Leicester are currently in third place, eight points off league leaders Liverpool after 11 rounds of fixtures.
