Brugge want €30m for in-demand star

Club Brugge have reportedly set a €30 million price-tag one of their in-demand stars amidst interest from Leicester City and Manchester United.

Brugge hold a 10 point lead at the summit of the Belgian First Division A this at the mid-way point of the season and several key players have since been linked with January transfers.

And Nigeria striker Emmanuel Dennis is said to have a host of suitors, including United, Leicester and AS Monaco.

The 22-year-old rose to prominence earlier this season when he scored a brace against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League and has since maintained his impressive form.

According to Foot Mercato, Philippe Clement's side are now seeking a record transfer to prise him away from the Jan Breydel Stadium.

After the off-season sales of Wesley, Arnaut Danjuma and Marvelous Nakamba to the Premier League for combined figures of €45m, the Belgian giants are in a strong position to resist potential offers.

However, the report further adds that United scouts have been in attendance of their recent home games and 'two Premier League' sides have already enquired about his availability.

Dennis has scored 26 goals in 97 games for the club since his €1.3m switch from Ukrainian side Zorya in July 2017.
