Lukaku linked with shock move

English Premier League

Chelsea frontman Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a shock move to another major European club.

The Belgium striker has endured waves of criticism since returning to England as his misfiring form in front of goal has contributed to the Blues' failure to stay in the race for the 2021/22 Premier League title.

The former Manchester United forward has scored just five league goals so far this season, and endured boos from his own club's supporters following the controversial interview in which he admitted he would like to return to his previous club Inter Milan.

Despite Tuchel and Lukaku clashing earlier this season, the German boss insisted in February that he will stand by the striker and asked fans to support the forward, who is yet to hit the heights he did in Serie A.

In a surprising turn of events, however, the 28-year-old's super-agent Mino Raiola is already in talks with another club regarding a potential move, according to The Sun.

Raiola has reportedly opened talks with Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo about a possible transfer in the upcoming window.

Les Parisiens are said to be in the market for a forward in the event that Kylian Mbappe decides to leave the Parc des Princes when his contract expires at the end of this campaign.

If Lukaku makes the switch to Paris, PSG would be the seventh club of his professional career.
