After another match-winning performance on Tuesday, Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has now drawn level with Cristiano Ronaldo in the Premier League's all-time top goalscorers list.
Having been on the brink of a Chelsea exit in January, Giroud looks to have revived his career at Stamford Bridge after enjoying a prolonged spell in the starting line-up since the league's resumption last month.
The France international has rewarded Frank Lampard's faith in him by netting four times since the restart – twice as many goals as he scored before the league was locked down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He was Chelsea's saviour again on Tuesday after netting the only goal in a 1-0 win over Norwich City, handing the Blues a four-point buffer over Leicester City and Manchester United in the club's pursuit of 2020/21 UEFA Champions League qualification.
Giroud, who first arrived on the Premier League scene with Arsenal in 2012, has now scored 84 goals in the competition, drawing level with Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo, albeit in 40 more appearances.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner is also now just one strike away from drawing equal with countryman Louis Saha to become the third-highest scoring Frenchman in the league's history, behind Thierry Henry (175) and Nicolas Anelka (125).
