Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have confirmed the signing of Germany winger Leroy Sane from Manchester City in a deal worth a reported £54-million.
The 24-year-old rejected the chance to extend his stay at the Etihad last week and with one year left on his current deal, he expressed his desire to return to his homeland with the German league champions.
Bayern has now confirmed the signing of the technically gifted winger on a lucrative five-year contract, with reports indicating his wages has now been doubled.
"FC Bayern is a great club with big goals - and these goals suit me as well. I'm looking forward to the new challenge and can't wait to train with the team," Sane said at his unveiling.
"I know Hansi Flick from the U21 national team, we had a very good relationship there. I want to win as many trophies as possible with FC Bayern, and the Champions League is the top priority."
Sane featured 135 times for the Citizens scoring 39 goals and registering 45 assists in all competitions after joining the club from Schalke in 2016.
