Manchester United captain Ashley Young is in talks over a shock move to one of the giants of European football, according to reports in Italy.
Young, 34, is out of contract at the end of the season and despite the club expressing their desire for him to remain for another year, it's been claimed he's ready to leave Old Trafford.
According to British publication, The Guardian, Young is close to agreeing to a sensational deal with Serie A leaders Inter.
Antonio Conte's side have already brought Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez from the Red Devils this season and the surprise move for Young could be confirmed this month.
After United's first-leg Carabao Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City on Tuesday evening, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made it known he was unimpressed by the media speculation.
"It's not the night to talk about players leaving," he said after the 3-1 defeat.
"We've got a few months left and we can't weaken ourselves, we need to strengthen ourselves if any movement is going to happen. I don't know what you are talking about. Ask Ash."
Young has 19 goals and registered 43 assists in 261 games since joining the English giants from Aston Villa in June 2011.
