Arsenal outcast has agreed terms on a three and half year deal with Super Lig giants Fenerbahce, according to Turkish news reports.
Ozil, 32, has been frozen out at Arsenal under manager Mikel Arteta this season with not a single minute of football offered despite his desire to fight for his place in the starting line-up.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup winner was in talks with Major League Soccer outfit DC United but has seemingly opted to join the second most successful club in Turkey.

"Well, we have a large squad. We knew that," Arteta said last week when asked about the club's transfer plans.
"A lot of things that should have happened in the summer we could not accomplish them for different reasons. There are a lot of players that are going to go on loan. They are going to leave.
"And that’s the priority at the moment because we cannot sustain the numbers that we have in certain positions. We are looking to do that."
However, it appears Erol Bulut's side have secured a permanent deal for the 92-time capped Germany international as they look to challenge for league honours this season.
Ozil scored 54 goals and registered 77 assists in 254 appearances for the Gunners after joining the club from Real Madrid in September 2013.
