As a result, the London club is looking to move on the likes of Granit Xhaka and Willian as part of a seven-man list of players who have been put up for sale, according to the Daily Mirror.

A number of players have already left the Emirates in this window, including David Luiz and Matteeo Guedouzi (on loan), while the club has also secured two signings, with midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga and fullback Nuno Tavares having been brought in from Anderlecht and Benfica, respectively.

More Arsenal stars are seemingly set to for the club's exit doors, though.

Xhaka produced some impressive displays for Switzerland at the recent 2020 UEFA European Championship, seemingly proving he still has what it takes to compete at a high level.

However, the arrival of Lokonga, as well as Thomas Partey last year, will give the midfielder, who has been linked with an exit from Arsenal a few times in the past, something to think about.

Xhaka has been heavily linked with a move to AS Roma, and according to Italian publication Il Romanista, the Gunners are asking for €20 million (R349 million) for his signature, but the Giallorossi have only bid €15 million (R262 million), including bonuses, to date.

Meanwhile, Brazilian winger Willian has two years remaining on his three-year deal at the Emirates.
