Another Chelsea star to leave?

English Premier League

With manager Thomas Tuchel recently confirming Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen's exits from the club, another Chelsea star has reportedly signalled his intention to leave Stamford Bridge.

Rudiger's departure was confirmed by the German tactician about three weeks ago, while Tuchel stated on the weekend that the Blues are "losing" Christensen too, with both defenders believed to be heading to Spain.

Marcos Alonso and Romelu Lukaku's futures are also up in the air, with both players having reportedly had fallouts with the manager this season.

According to German outlet Sport1, Germany forward Timo Werner is another player who wants to leave the London club in the upcoming transfer window.

Despite winning three trophies with the Premier League side, he has struggled to replicate the form he showed at RB Leipzig when he scored 34 goals in 45 games across all competitions in the 2019/20 season, and is not happy with his situation in England.

He has 23 goals in 89 appearances for the Blues so far, and has faced some severe criticism from pundits and supporters for his goalscoring woes since making the move to London.

It is claimed that Bayern Munich are a potential destination for the Germany international, with their star striker Robert Lewandowski widely linked with a move to Barcelona.
