Ligue 1 Pro giants Horoya AC have confirmed the passports of the squad and technical staff went missing ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.
Horoya are unbeaten in this season's competition and face Egyptian Premier League side Pyramids for a place in the final against either RS Berkane or Hassania Agadir of the Botola Pro League.
However, the West-African nation are already facing an uphill task to overcome to North African dominance of the second-tier continental showpiece as their documents required to travel to Morocco have mysteriously disappeared.
"As part of the procedures concerning the preparations for the trip of the HAC, for the semi-final of the CAF Cup scheduled for September 22, 2020 in Morocco, we inform you that our manager of the organization Mamoudou Dioumessy has lost the passports of the Horoya Athletic Club players and staff, this Sunday in the Coléah area," the statement read.
"We humbly ask anyone who has found the said passports to bring them back to us at the club's headquarters in Matam - Corniche or call one of the following numbers: 622 42 01 89 or 657 79 77 28 - your generosity will be rewarded."
Horoya who've won five successive league titles will be hoping to retrieve their required paperwork in time before their scheduled clash on 22 September.
