Horoya top of Group C, Pyramids net six

CAF Confederation Cup

After Bidvest Wits lost Djoliba, Horoya climbed to the top of Group C after overcoming Al Nasr while Enyimba got their CAF Confederation Cup group stage campaign up and running on Sunday evening.

Al Masry 4-2 Enugu Rangers

Al Masry maintained their perfect start in Group A after drubbing Enugu Rangers 4-2 at Al Masry Club Stadium.

Austin Amutu, Ahmed Yasser, Moftah Taktak and Hassan Ali gave the Egyptian side a comfortable 4-0 lead before two goals in the last three minutes by Chinonso Eziekwe and an own goal by Saidou Simpore gave Rangers something to write home about.

Horoya 3-0 Al Nasr

Horoya climbed to the top of Group C after clinching their first win with a 3-0 thrashing of Al-Nasr at Stade du 28 Septembre.

Heritier Makambo got the opener in the 15th minute while Aristide Bance and Tafadzwa Kutinyu netted two late goals to seal the three points for the Guinean giants.

Zanaco 1-1 RSB Berkane

RSB Berkane dropped points for the first time in Group B after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Zanaco at National Heroes Stadium.

Djibril Outtara got the opener for the visitors in the 15th minute but their lead did not last for long as Charles Zulu brought the Zambian side level ten minutes later.

Enyimba 1-0 San Pedro

Enyimba got their Group D campaign back on track after edging San Pedro 1-0 at Enyimba International Stadium.

Martin Usule broke the deadlock for the Nigerian giants in the 64th minute, which proved to be the winner for the Nigerian outfit.

FC Esae 0-2 Motema Pembe

Motema Pembe registered their first win in Group B after beating FC Esae 2-0 courtesy of a brace by Vinny Kombe at Stade Charles de Gaulle.

Pyramids 6-0 Nouadhibou

Pyramids made it two wins from two matches in Group A after thumping Nouadhibou 6-0 in Cairo on Sunday evening.

Mohamed Farouk and Eric Traore both bagged two goals each, while John Antwi and Wilfried Kanon also got on the score-sheet for the hosts.

Paradou 0-2 Hassani Agadir

Goals from Mehdi Oubilla and Yassine Rami handed Hassani Agadir a second straight victory in Group D on Sunday evening.
