Mosimane was left annoyed on Saturday after his team were held to a 1-1 draw by the African champions in the first leg of their group stage opener at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

"I am disappointed because I know what is going to happen in Morocco," Mosimane said. "They will put pressure, they will stress on the referee, they will do everything - that's what makes me disappointed.

"We needed to kill it, we should have killed. We made a very, very crucial mistake. Without that mistake how were they going to score? They were not there. I am not disrespecting them but which chance? If we look after the set-pieces then there is no issues.

"We get our inter play and number 10 inside. When we do that we know everybody struggles, whether it is Zamalek, Esperance. Once we play the way we play with our brand, they will struggle.

"That's what makes me disappointed because I am saying we had an opportunity. You must seize the opportunity because you cannot say we took the point, we played the champions of Africa. What about the champions of Africa?

"The game is there on the pitch, win this game! We should have won the game, there is no excuse not to win the game. That's why I am disappointed."

Mosimane believes the Absa Premiership champions felt Wydad's defence got away with two handballs in their box.

"Okay, we can talk about the two handballs that were there, but I don't want to go there because he doesn't give, what are you going to do?

"But I know the two handballs in Morocco is a handball, it's a penalty, no doubt about that."

Mosimane's men will conclude their triumphant league campaign against Bloemfontein Celtic at Dr Molemela Stadium this Saturday before facing Horoya in their next Champions League tie on May 15.
