Wydad Casablanca have refuted claims they are interested in the services of Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane.
The Sundowns head coach will be out contract at the end of the season and reports in Moroccan media have since emerged that Wydad are keen on luring him to Casablanca.
Wydad appointed two-time CAF Confederation Cup winner Juan Carlos Garrido on Tuesday afternoon as a replacement for Sebastian Desabre, as the third manager of their current season.
With the Spaniard only signing a six-month deal, rumours have intensified that Mosimane is said to be the club's main target.
However, an insider at the 20-time Botola champions has now quashed the rumours of The Reds approaching the 54-year-old.

"I think it's just social media news, Wydad Atheltic Club hired a new coach yesterday in the form of Mr Garrido," the source tells KickOff.com.
"Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow, so the six-month contract [to discuss now] is too far.
"What I know is that there have been no official discussions. Yes there is lots of appreciation for him and Sundowns.
"Mr Pitso is welcome anywhere in Morocco and Casablanca as a guest when he wants, but there have not been any discussions about working or training at WAC, I can confirm this."
Wydad face Etoile du Sahel on Saturday as Garrido's first match in charge, while Mosimane's Masandawana are up against Al Ahly in the first-leg ties of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
