Since joining Pirates before the start of the 2017/18 season, Micho and Mokwena have managed to turn the team into genuine title contenders and they are doing so by playing attractive football. Mokwena is known for always implementing some of the latest trends in football, while Micho brings the knowledge of having worked on the continent for well over a decade.

"Rhulani won the Champions League with Sundowns and Micho has been to the semi-final of the Champions League. So you understand that they both have experience and it's good that they will share their experience with the players," Lekgwathi, who lost in the 2013 final to Al Ahly, tells KickOff.com.

"I know most of the players have not played in the Champions League before, but with the energy they have I think they can do well in the competition."
