Zamalek SC president Mortada Mansour says a decision has been made over the future of under-fire head coach Milutin Sredojevic.
After calls for 'Micho' to be sacked by the club's supporters after an embarrassing defeat in the league to relegation candidates ENPPI, the CAF Champions League tie against TP Mazembe was said to be crucial.
And Mazembe compounded more misery on the Egyptian giants with a convincing 3-0 win in Lubumbashi on Saturday, which the White Knights squad reacted with unwavering support of the Serbian on social media.
However, Mansour has now confirmed that a decision has been made, that will be announced to the media in due course.
"Of course, we are very disappointed after the Enppi and Mazembe games. But there have been mistakes from the staff and players," Mansour said, as per KingFut.
"Zamalek's board had a meeting and we made a unanimous decision regarding Micho’s future, but I will not announce it today.
"I will meet with him [Micho] first because he has some personal issues that he wants to discuss with me. Our decision will be announced after that meeting.
"What we've seen from the players recently does not represent Zamalek at all."
