Downs leaving nothing to chance

The Brazilians leave for Congo next week, knowing that victory against Vita over two legs will secure their place in the group stages.

With that in mind, Mosimane is leaving no stone unturned and has sent a team ahead to check on logistics and also the opposition.

“The trip to AS Vita is a much easier trip than Dolsie because there is a direct flight. SAA has three flights per week so no excuses,” ‘Jingles’ tells KickOff.com.

“We have sent an advance team to check the hotels and see how it is there. We have seen some of the players in the national team. We saw the Swazi boy playing as right-wing. We saw him when Swaziland were playing against Zimbabwe.

“Slowly but surely we are understanding the team. It’s going to be a diffuclt encounter to go, so we need to make sure that when we get there we are strong.”

Mosimane says he will happy to escape Kinshasa with a goalless draw. “We should go there and try to get a good result. The good result is that if we bring zero behind then we would have done well … that will be be brilliant.”
