Mosimane has hinted that he will start with the former Genk defender at right back and push Thapelo Morena to right wing, as Sundowns look to unsettle Wydad with their pace in attack.
Sundowns won the first leg 1-0 and will play the second leg at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat on Saturday.
“Hopefully Khama is back and Anton [Anthony Laffor]. If I don’t get them, then maybe I will bring Thapelo as a winger. I will make a plan for the speed because I know that [Wydad] defence is a little bit slow. So we have to consolidate and put the balls behind [them].
“I think we can manage the game. We have enough Bafana players on the pitch. We’ll probably have different personnel. We’ll probably have Anele because he is a better defender than Thapelo. Thapelo is quicker and he gives us more options to go forward, but sometimes when I need results Anele does well for me, like in Esperance and St George. We’ll see.”
Mosimane is not worried at all about his players being intimidated in Rabat. They have, after all, played in the Champions League final against Zamalek in Alexandria, so they should know what to expect on match day.
“We have the experience, to be honest. We are not going to be intimidated. It can never be bigger than Alexandria of Zamalek. That’s the ultimate full house.
“Imagine saying we are worried about being intimidated. We have been to Setif and you know what happened there. They [the supporters] go inside the pitch.”
