Bayern Munich have finally landed their replacement for club legend Arjen Robben after a move for Leroy Sane failed to materialise due to a long-term injury.
Bayern have actively pursued a high-profile winger during the current transfer window in order to replace the iconic Dutchman.
After deals for Ivory Coast star Nicolas Pepe and Sane fell through, the club have pulled off a shrewd acquisition of Ivan Perisic from Inter on a season-long loan.
The 82-time capped Croatian holds vast experience of the Bundesliga, having played six seasons in Germany with Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg respectively.
"I'm very glad to be back in Germany. FC Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in Europe. We want to go on the attack, not only in the Bundesliga and the DFB Cup, but also in the Champions League," he told the club's website.
The 30-year-old scored 40 goals and registered 37 assists in 163 games for the Italian giants over the past four seasons.
