Kevin Kampl and Timo Werner netted two goals separated by three minutes just before the hour-mark for Leipzig but Fortuna made a late comeback, as Steven Skrzybski and Andre Hoffmann netted twice with three minutes remaining.

Eintracht Frankfurt kept their hopes of qualifying for the UEFA Europa League alive after edging ten-man Schalke 2-1 at Commerzbank Arena.
Andre Silva broke the deadlock for the hosts just before the half-hour mark, while David Abraham doubled their lead five minutes from the break.
Weston McKennie pulled a goal back for Schalke just before the hour-mark but the visitors' chances of a comeback were dashed after Can Bozdogan received his second yellow card and was sent off 12 minutes before time.

Bayer Leverkusen entered into the UEFA Champions League group stage spots after thrashing FC Koln 3-1 at Bay Arena.
Sven Bender, Kai Havertz and Moussa Diaby were on target for Leverkusen as they moved up to fourth while Sebastian Bornauw scored the consolation goal for Koln.
Augsburg 1-3 Hoffenheim
Hoffenheim increased their chances of qualifying for the UEFA Europa League after beating Augsburg 3-1 thanks to a brace by Munas Dabour at WWK Arena.
In addition to Dabour's brace, Ihlas Bebou made the three points safe with the third goal for Hoffenheim in the last minute while Ruben Vargas scored the only goal for Augsburg.
