Augsburg 0-3 Hertha Berlin

Hertha Berlin secured a second straight Bundesliga win after thumping Augsburg 3-0 at WWK Arena.

Matheus Cunha broke the deadlock for Hertha on the stroke of half-time, Dodi Lukebakio doubled their lead six minutes from the break and Krzysztof Piatek sealed the three points in the last five minutes.

RB Leipzig 3-0 Freiburg

RB Leipzig got back to winning ways after thrashing Freiburg 3-0 at Red Bull Arena.

Ibrahima Konate scored the only goal in the first stanza for Leipzig while Marcel Sabitzer and Angelino scored two late goals to wrap up the three points.

VfB Stuttgart 2-2 Eintracht Frankfurt

VfB Stuttgart blew away a two-goal lead to draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in a four-goal thriller at Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Nicolas Gonzalez and Gonzalo Castro gave the hosts a two-goal cushion going to the break but they were pegged back in the second stanza as Andre Silva reduced the deficit just after the hour-mark for Eintracht before David Abraham levelled matters in the last quarter of an hour.

Union Berlin 5-0 Arminia Bielefield

Union Berlin moved up to fourth on the table after hammering Arminia Bielefield 5-0 at Stadion An der Alten Forsterei.

Keita Endo, Robert Andrich and Sheraldo Becker gave Union a comfortable 3-0 lead going to the break while Max Kruse and Cedric Teuchert rubbed salt into wound with two goals in the second stanza to complete the rout.

Mainz 2-2 Schalke

Mainz picked up their first point of the season after a 2-2 draw with Schalke at Opell Arena.

Daniel Brosinski and Jean-Philippe gave Mainz a 2-1 lead going to the break after Mark Uth had equalised for the visitors.

Ozan Kobak thought he had restored parity for Schalke five minutes after the break but his goal was chalked off for a handball by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), but Jeremiah Juste's own goal in the last eight minutes denied Mainz the three points, as the sides shared the spoils.
