Werder Bremen 0-2 Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund registered back-to-back wins after beating struggling Werder Bremen 2-0 at Wohninvest Weserstadion.

After a score-less first stanza, Dan-Axel Zagadou eventually broke the deadlock for Dortmund seven minutes from the break before Erling Haaland secured the three points for Dortmund in the 66th minute.

Borussia Monchengladbach 1-1 Hoffeinheim

Borussia Monchengladbach missed the chance to close the gap on the leading pack after being held to a 1-1 draw by Hoffenheim at Stadion IM Borussia-Park.

Matthias Ginter got the opener for Monchengladbach in the 11th minute but Hoffenheim snatched the equaliser in stoppage time courtesy of Lucas Ribeiro.

Freiburg 0-2 Fortuna Dusseldorf

Fortuna Dusseldorf boosted their chances of surviving relegation with a shock 2-0 victory over Freiburg at Schwarzwald-Stadion.

Andre Hoffmann broke the deadlock for Fortuna with eight minutes remaining of the first stanza  while Erik Thommy sealed the three points just after the hour-mark.

Hertha Berlin 0-5 FC Koln

FC Koln moved up six points clear of the relegation zone after drubbing Hertha Berlin 5-0 at Olympiastadion Berlin.

Jhon Cordoba and Florian Kainz both netted a two goals each for Koln while Mark Uth added the cherry on top with the fifth goal in the last 21 minutes.

Schalke 0-5 RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig moved up to second on the table after drubbing Schalke 5-0 at Veltins-Arena.

Marcel Sabitzer, Timo Werner, Marcel Halstenberg, Angelino and Emil Forsberg were all on target for Leipzig, as they moved to within one point of leaders Bayern Munich in second place.
