Bayer Leverkusen 4-3 Borussia Dortmund

Bayer Leverkusen dented Borussia Dortmund's title aspirations after claiming a 4-3 win at the BayArena on Saturday night.

An entertaining first half ended 2-2 after Jadon Sancho and Mats Hummels cancelled out Kevin Volland's brace.

Raphael Guerreiro restored Dortmund's lead on the hour mark, before Leon Bailey and Lars Bender completed the back for the hosts in the final 10 minutes.

Wolfsburg 1-1 Fortuna Dusseldorf

Wolfsburg were held to a 1-1 draw against Fortuna Dusseldorf at the Volkswagen Arena on Saturday.

Wolfsburg were behind at halftime after Matthias Zimmermann gave the visitors a 13th minute lead.

The home side’s goal came through Renato Steffen earlier in the second half moments after having defender Marin Pongracic given a straight red card.

Werder Bremen 0-2 Union Berlin

Werder Bremen remained in a relegation dogfight after succumbing to a 2-0 defeat against Union Berlin at the Weserstadion.

A second-half brace from Marius Bulter hannded the visitors three points.

Hertha Berlin 1-3 Mainz

Hertha Berlin’s poor run of form continued following a 3-1 loss to Mainz in a bottom-half contest at the Olympiastadion.

Mainz were ahead following the 17th minute through Robin Quaison, who went on to grab his second and third goal in the second half for the hat-trick,

Berlin’s consolation goal came courtesy of Dedryck Boyata late in the half, whilst having Marius Wolf dismissed following a second bookable offence.

Schalke 1-1 Paderborn

Schalke failed to close in to the top-four following a 1-1 draw against bottom-placed Paderborn at the Veltins-Arena.

Schalke took the lead midway in the second half through substitute Ahmed Kutucu, but Paderborn forced a draw in the last nine minutes through Klaus Gjasula.

SC Freiburg 1-0 TSG Hoffenheim

Freiburg got back to winning ways after snatching a 1-0 win over TSG Hoffenheim in a mid-table battle in Freiburg.

A 40th minute penalty conversion from striker Luca Waldschmidt gave the hosts the all-important victory.
