RB Leipzig extended their perfect start to the season after edging Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Timo Werner opened the scoring in the tenth minute for the hosts while Yussuf Poulsen doubled their lead ten minutes before time.

Goncalo Paciencia reduced the deficit for Frankfurt in the last minute, but the visitors were unable to find another goal as Lezipzig held on.

Leipzig moved up to third on the table with six points from two matches, while Frankfurt dropped to tenth on the log with three points from the same number of matches.

Hertha Berlin 0-3 Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg continued their dream start to the season after cruising to a 3-0 victory over Hertha Berlin at Olympiastadion Berlin.

Wout Weghorst grabbed an early lead for the visitors in the ninth minute from the penalty spot and Josip Brekalo doubled their lead six minutes before time.

Jerome Roussillon sealed the three points for the visitors with the third goal in stoppage time.

Wolfsburg moved up to fourth on the log with six points, while Hertha dropped down to 11th with only a point.
