The Botswana Football Association (BFA) have confirmed Adel Amrouche as the new head coach for the national team.
Amrouche holds vast experience on the African continent after stints with Equitorial Guinea, Burundi, Kenya and Libya over the past two decades.
After leaving Algerian Ligue 1 giants MC Alger earlier this year, he's agreed a two-year contract with the Zebras, who are currently 147th in the latest FIFA World rankings.
Speaking to the press after his unveiling, he credited former Amajita coach, now technical director of BFA, Serame Letsoaka as the leading factor in his decision to embark on his latest challenge.
"I am ready for the challenge and I want to help in developing football here," Amrouche said.
"I have done my research on football in Botswana and when I heard Serame [Letsoaka], I didn't think twice."
The Algerian has been set a clear mandate of taking Botswana to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
