Cameroon skipper Vincent Aboubakar was certainly name on everybody's lips as the striker bagged five goals in three games, making him the top scorer of the tournament heading into the knockout stages.
Aboubakar becomes only the second player in tournament history to score five goals in the group stages after his countryman Samuel Eto'o did it twice (2006 and 2008).
As a result, Aboubakar walked away with the Best Player of the group stages, while Guinea's Ilaix Moriba was named the Best Young Player.
Nigeria interim coach Augustine Eguavoen walked away with the Manager Award, after the Super Eagles were the only team win all three group encounters.
