Chiefs' Dax set for AFCON 2019


A French footballer who recently pledged his international allegience to Madagascar has been called up alongside Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Andriamiraldo Aro Hasina Andrianarimanana in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations squad.
Jeremy Morel, 35, has been included in the 23-man squad list of players for the tournament, with another three on standby.
Morel played in Madagascar's final two Nations Cup qualifiers after deciding to play for the island nations, where his father was born.
There is a recall for Amakhosi midfielder Andriamiraldo 'Dax' Andrianarimanana who did not feature in the group stage of the qualifiers.
