Makgalwa shone in Sundowns' MultiChoice Diski Challenge triumph last term, but has been unable to break through into the senior side since his promotion in the off-season along with Amajita captain Thendo Mukumela.
However, the 21-year-old is highly rated and has a keen admirer in Orlando Pirates legend Moloi.
"You know I'd love to have the MDC striker from Mamelodi Sundowns... Keletso Makgalwa," says Moloi.
"I'd love to maybe have him as an option of playing as a false number nine like Sundowns are doing now [with Percy Tau], or play him with two strikers that I have.
"If they could give me that boy then I'll know that my team will be complete. But I know it's going to be difficult knowing Pitso because he really also loves that boy. So I'd love to have a midfielder in the same mould.
"I don't want to say Percy because Percy is a different kettle of fish, but that boy can give you something, especially if you play him as a false nine."
Moloi says he will get in touch with Downs counterpart Pitso Mosimane, who was a teammate during their playing days.
"It depends with their MDC team if they really want him badly because I saw they've started using him.
"So it'll depend on them but I'll be in touch with them. Let's just see and watch this space if it happens."
