Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt has shared his thoughts on the Bafana Bafana job amid questions about when he might take up the role.
Hunt feels the national team did well at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt and respects Stuart Baxter for guiding the boys to the quarterfinals for the first time in many years.
He was speaking during their pre-season camp in KwaZulu-Natal as they participated in the Msunduzi Cup at Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday.
"I fully respect Stuart Baxter and his whole team, they got to the quarterfinal after not qualifying for such a long time, they've done well and have something to build on, I will support them whichever way they go."
Hunt was asked if coaching Bafana is something he would like to add to his CV as he is amongst the top coaches in the country who have won many domestic trophies.
"I really don't want to talk about that, that's not really my area, there's someone in place there. I'm too young to be a national team coach [laughs]."
