Following the earlier ruling handed down by SAFA arbitrator Advocate W. Mokhari SC, stating the implications of Ajax fielding an ineligible player in striker Tendai Ndoro, the PSL have also made official pronouncements.
The league have confirmed the new Absa Premiership standings, while further adding that Platinum Stars will face Black Leopards in Thohoyandou in the opening play-off fixture on Wednesday.
Ajax, however, are turning to the courts to try and stop the play-offs from kicking off.
"As a result of the ruling, please take note of the revised log positions of the ABSA Premiership (see log attached)," read a statement.
"Platinum Stars Football Club will therefore participate in the Promotion play-offs as envisaged in the NSL Handbook read with the Play-off Rules on the dates.
"For clarity purposes, the scheduled fixture in Thohoyandou tomorrow (Wednesday, 16 May 2018 – 15h00) between Black Leopards and (now) Platinum Stars will go ahead."
Meanwhile, Dikwena have been preparing for their play-off fixtures in expectation of the arbitration outcome going in their favour.
