'Musona not Mncwango replacement'

Mncwango's future with the Limpopo side remains unclear as he last trained with the team in January, meaning he missed Wednesday's Nedbank Cup win over African All Stars.

"No comment, call the boss [club chairman Johnny Mogaladi],” was all Eymael was prepared to say when asked by KickOff.com about Mncwango’s position in the team.

The Belgian coach also made it clear that January signing Musona, who is Knowledge Musona’s younger brother, is a different player to Mncwango.

“He [Musona] is not the perfect replacement of Thobane [Mncwango], he is more of a winger,” Eymael adds.

The Zimbabwean forward reminded many of his brother when he played against All Stars, where he dribbled past the ABC Motsepe League side's defence, including the goalkeeper, before scoring Polokwane City 's third goal.

Eymael, though, expects the Warriors defender can still get better, saying: ”He [Musona] has to improve and work a lot again.”
