Mthiyane was a surprise signing from Chippa United at the beginning of the season but, after struggling to break into the Pirates first team, has since been loaned out to Arrows.
He has now featured in all seven games under Clinton Larsen, since joining at the end of January, as he looks to rebuild his confidence.
“It has been encouraging to be here at Arrows and I am really happy to be playing football again,” Mthiyane tells KickOff.com.
“I mean, as a footballer, you always want to be playing at your club and I am extremely happy that this is what is happening with me right now.
"Obviously I have been so thirsty to play considering how long I stayed without playing. To have come from not playing and not being told why, which made me feel bad, to then being on the field as often as I have been here at Arrows feels good.
“The good part about it here at Arrows is that the football we play needs you to have energy and fitness which is something that I have adapted to.
"Coach Clinton Larsen is also an honest man who is always there to provide the motivation."
Having enjoyed regular game-time at Arrows has he thought about his future considering that he is only on loan up to the end of the season?
“My wish is to continue playing football especially seeing that I have started playing again,” he adds.
