Amakhosi will no doubt be buoyed by their victory over SuperSport United in Durban on Sunday but have to now try and build on that momentum as they continue their search for a first league win since September.

Leopards have already proven a tough nut to crack for Giovanni Solinas’s outfit, but the stakes are different this time around as Chiefs require three points to remain within reach of front-runners Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits.

Mphahlele, who bagged a morale-boosting goal over the weekend, is leading the charge for his side to replicate their cup performance against coach Joel Masutha’s charges.

“We have to keep fighting. They [Leopards] like to play and won’t sit back, parking the bus,” Mphahlele told his club’s website.

“They also have in Joel Masutha a good coach. It promises to be an exciting game to watch.

“We must bring the same fighting spirit to this clash as we did against SuperSport on Sunday. We must get stuck in.”
