Former Orlando Pirates star Sifiso Myeni has ruled out the possibility of officially retiring from football and remains eager to continue his career.

Despite his age, the winger believes he still has two years left to give to any willing suitors.

Myeni was released by GladAfrica Championship outfit TS Sporting at the end of June 2020, following the expiry of a six-month deal with the Mpumalanga province-based club.

The 33-year-old has been a free agent since then but has refused to rule out a return to action.

"It's not all doom and gloom as I still think I still have the legs," Myeni tells Kickoff.com.

"But you know in this country we think that when you start reaching your peak age, it becomes difficult.

"But to the fans keep supporting me always, I enjoy your love and support but only God knows what's going to happen.

"I have enjoyed playing in the PSL so we will see where it goes. If it happens it happens, if it does not it does not.

"It's not all about forcing a situation, I think I have played 11 years in the PSL if I'm not mistaken. So my target was always to go overseas, it did not happen, but at least I have played 11 years in the PSL.

There's a lot of players who don't even reach that point, so for me, it's a privilege. I still get support when I walk in the street, it's good that people don't forget.

"I know other people will just say I'm finished, but at the end of the day, it's all about you. If a team comes knocking I will be willing to consider it.

"I think I still have two more seasons if I'm not mistaken. I'm still playing. I'm playing Kasi tournaments.

"Right now, I'm still busy with my team because I have a team in the SAB. So I'm just busy grooming young players."
