The 2019/20 Premier Soccer League season has been dominated by the word 'benefiting' due to standard of refereeing in the country.
There was another controversial decision in the dying stages of the Telkom Knockout final on Saturday night as Maritzburg United had a late goal ruled out for an offside, which created another debate on whether Video Assistant Referee (VAR) should be introduced in the PSL or not.
Mamelodi Sundowns wing-back Thapelo Morena was asked whether he feels the League should now introduce VAR to avoid such mistakes, which have been leading to coaches and players becoming frustrated after games.
"If it possible. It can be introduced and it is the most important thing but for us everyone makes mistakes and we can learn from those mistakes," Morena told the media after the game.
The Sundowns speedster says as players they just need to focus on their job and not try to look at what officials do.
"I think for us we just have to look at our own side, everybody has to learn and look at where they can improve."
