The 28-year-old, whose contract is set to expire at the end of June, said the move to he Buccaneers could happen next year.

Pirates are thought to be eyeing a new goalkeeper following the tragic death of captain Senzo Meyiwa last month.

"It could happen that I move," Mpontshane said during the club’s media day ahead of their Telkom Knockout Final against SuperSport United.
