The former Maccabi Haifa marksman suggested in an interview with KickOff.com that the players were not working for a common cause before Gordon Igesund’s arrival in September to replace Cavin Johnson.
Ndlovu reckons Igesund has managed to get all the players pulling in the same direction hence they managed to go all the way in the Telkom Knockout and beat Platinum Stars 3-2 on Saturday.
“What changed? It is the way we approach every game,” Ndlovu tells this website.
“I think there were two groups of individuals in the team and when he came, I think he changed that. At the end of the day, you are not playing tennis or golf where you can play alone.
“This is a team sport and the eleven players on the field are complemented by those on the bench. One player needs another player and I’m happy that we are champions now,” Ndlovu adds.
