KickOff.com spoke to a highly-placed source at the club this morning who said the bosses were fed up and that German was on his way.
This follows Saturday’s Telkom Knockout defeat to AmaZulu and a shocking start to the Absa Premiership.
But Celtic owner Max Tshabalala says they will stand by their coach, though with a few provisions.
“We are behind our coach. We have bought players that he needs and will get additional ones,” Tshabalala says.
“The players did not lose the Telkom Knockout intentionally. I'm frustrated that we lost, but we promise our supporters that we will turn things around.”
Tshabalala adds: “We have spoken to the coach about his behavior and temper and he has promised to be more friendly.”
