Red-hot Zimbabwean striker Ishmael Wadi is igniting interest from the PSL's big boys after his goalscoring exploits in the GladAfrica Championship.
Wadi joined JDR Stars at the beginning of the season on a two-year deal from CAPS United after impressing during a brief assessment and has been quick in showcasing his abilities.
In the six games that the 28-year-old has played, he has delivered five goals quickly becoming the source of goals for the Pretoria club who sit fourth on the standings just a point behind surprise leaders Hungry Lions.

He scored his first against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila and added another one in the win against Pretoria Callies before slamming a brace in the 3-2 win over Polokwane City.
This past weekend he also scored in the 2-0 victory over TS Sporting for his fifth of the season.
All his goals have come in games that JDR have won, and this form has led to him being included in the Warriors squad that has been playing in the World Cup qualifiers.
"There are clubs already monitoring his situation after getting wind of what he is doing in the first division because as is normally the case with goal scorers. The big teams in Johannesburg are following what he is doing with interest and if he continues with that scoring streak then it will not be a surprise that they make their interest official," says a source.
Being an experienced forward Wadi has already made known his intentions of breaking into the PSL and at the rate at which he is scoring goals, it is no surprise that his name is now on the lips of clubs in the top league.
Wadi has previously been with Harare City, Bulawayo City, FC Platinum, Black Mambas and CAPS United back home.
He remains one of the top scorers in the ongoing Chibuku Cup back home where he had scored four goals in six matches before leaving while the competition was on hold due to covid related issues.
