Pitso receives special gift from Salah

Pitso Mosimane has sent a message and lauded Mohamed Salah after receiving a special gift from the Liverpool superstar.

Mosimane has taken his managerial career to new heights over the past 12 months in Cairo where he's won two CAF Champions League titles already with the Egyptian giants.

Working with the biggest club in African within the nation where the Red superstar is idolised beyond the usual adulation sports stars normally receive, Mosimane has been singled out for a special gift.

Taking to his official Twitter account, the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana head coach revealed he was sent a signed shirt from the 29-year-old who's widely considered as one of the greatest footballers in the world at present.

"Mo Salah, thank you for the #10 Jersey you sent to me. I am really humbled. You are an idol and hope for children globally and have proven that it is possible and doable," he wrote on social media.

Since joining the Premier League club in July 2017, Salah has scored 134 goals and registered 50 assists in 212 games across all competitions - while he's netted 43 in 69 caps for the Pharaohs.
