Former South Africa youth international and Orlando Pirates development star Nhlakanipho Ntuli is set to leave his European club at the end of the month.

South African midfielder Nhlakanipho Ntuli is set to part ways with Slovakian side FC Košice when his contract with the club expires at the end of the month.

The 26-year-old, who previously spent time in Orlando Pirates' development ranks, joined Košice at the start of the season and scored twice in 23 appearances as the club narrowly missed out on promotion to the top flight.

He will not be part of the squad for the 2022/23 season, however, after he was confirmed as one of six players who had been released ahead of the new campaign.

Apart from his spell with Pirates, Ntuli spent large parts of his formative years in the Netherlands where he formed part of the youth ranks of Ajax Amsterdam, PSV Eindhoven and FC Twente, going on to feature for the latter's reserve team.

He later returned to South Africa where he made two DStv Premiership appearances for Free State Stars before returning to Europe to join Sportis Łochowo, and then Košice last year.
