Reported Kaizer Chiefs target Thabo Cele has officially been unveiled as a new signing by Polish side Radomiak Radom.
Polish Ekstraklasa outfit Radomiak Radom have confirmed the signing of KZN Academy starlet Thabo Cele on an initial 20-month deal, with the club retaining the option to extend his stay for another year.
"24-year-old Thabo Cele has signed a contract with Radomiak Radom!" the club said in an official statement on Tuesday evening.
"The contract with the South African midfielder will last until the end of the 2022/2023 season with an option to extend it for one year."
Cele most recently plied in his football in Portugal with second division side Cova da Piedade and was strongly linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs after becoming a free agent at the end of last season.
However, the two-cap Bafana Bafana international has elected to remain in Europe instead and had been training with his new employers for some time prior to his official unveiling.
He follows in the footsteps of countryman Daylon Klaasen and Ricardo Nunes, who both featured in the Ekstraklasa for Lech Poznań and Pogoń Szczecin, respectively, in recent years.
Cele joins these 19 Bafana Bafana internationals who are all playing at an overseas-based club
