Dino Ndlovu has hit back at critics in Turkey after netting an incredible first-half hat-trick for Kocaelispor on Thursday.

Last month, Ndlovu found himself in the firing line in Turkey after comments he posted on social media were misinterpreted by Kocaelispor's fans and officials from within the club.

At the time, the South Africa international had failed to score in each of his first three appearances for the second division club and question marks were soon raised of his form and commitment to the team's cause.

The 31-year-old striker hit back in emphatic fashion on Thursday, however, when he netted an incredible 40-minute hat-trick to inspire Kocaelispor to a 3-1 league win over Balıkesirspor.

Ndlovu opened the scoring with a predatory finish in the second minute before bundling home his second with just over a quarter of an hour played, and his treble was completed not long after when he cooly slotted home his third after a blistering counter-attack.

The former Zhejiang Greentown star took to social media shortly after the match in which he gave credit to God for his performance at the Kocaeli Stadium.

"Are you recognizing the Source?" he shared "Are you thanking God for every good thing? The more you acknowledge God’s goodness, the more of His goodness you will see."
