Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Graham Potter has revealed his pleasure after Percy Tau and Enock Mwepu scored their first goals for the club.
With less than two weeks to go before Brighton kick off their 2021/22 Premier League campaign, Potter's side stepped up their pre-season preparations with a 3-1 friendly win over Luton Town on Saturday afternoon.
The Seagulls took an early two-goal lead through Aaron Connolly and new-signing Enock Mwepu, before Harry Cornick pulled one back for the Championship side on the brink of half-time following a defensive error from Dan Burn.
Tau was then introduced for the second half alongside Jason Steele, Mikel Karbownik, Steven Alzate and Florin Andone as Potter rang the changes and the Bafana Bafana star made a near-immediate impact on the match.
Picking the ball up just outside his own half, the former Mamelodi Sundowns star embarked on a mazy run that culminated in him skinning a Luton defender on the edge of the area before firing home his first goal for the club.

Tau's goal sealed the win for Brighton, who are set to open their campaign on 14 August away to Burnley, and Potter revealed he was pleased the 27-year-old and Mwepu both opened their accounts for the club ahead of the campaign.
"I thought we played well in the first half especially," Potter told MyAlbion TV. "We controlled the game, created some good chances and scored some good goals. I was really pleased for Enock to get off the mark.
"I am disappointed in their goal, which was from an error, and that made the start of the second half a little bit more competitive. It is something we just have to accept and learn from, but in the end, our response was good and it was nice for Percy to score the third.
"There were lots of young players on the pitch getting minutes towards the end of the game. It was a really good afternoon for us."
