Amajita visit the Malawians in a second leg, third round 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualifier after the first leg finished goalless at Moruleng Stadium on Sunday.
Senong was happy that the side did not concede a goal on home soil, but now they have a challenge of keeping a clean sheet away from home, as well as scoring to book themselves a spot in next year’s competition in Niger.
The tournament will be played from February 24 to March 10.
“It’s another 90 minutes away from home. And one thing about this team is that we always score and defend well whenever we play away. I have no doubt that we’ll do well in Malawi.”
Should they qualify for the competition, Amajita would have to get to the semi-finals to qualify for the World Cup in Poland next year. The likes of Lyle Foster, Wiseman Meyiwa and Sibusiso Mabiliso will have to play a key role to inspire Amajita to qualification.
